Cape Disappointment

We had a great time camping at and can't wait to get out and really start enjoying everything the northwest has to offer. If anyone out there has a good suggestion as to where to camp, please comment about it or email me as I'd love to get some tips on camping in Oregon and Washington.

I realized that I forgot to put this picture in the article. This is the North Head Lighthouse and it's perched on the cliffs above where we camped. We stopped here in the morning before heading back and saw the migrating whales directly below us. It was definitely an amazing sight to see.

Manbeat

jdogI'd like to give the Mighty Jdog a big thank you for writing the latest copy of Manbeat and allowing us to post it. That's a lot more than I ever wanted to know about dump trucks and baby books. What are your thoughts, people?

Oaks Park

Well, the Oaks Park story is up and I hope you appreciate being able to share Bear's birthday with us. Not every pop culture site out there lets you in that close. I still have a whole second part to this story to write, so keep in mind there will be more, but I hope that this little preview inspires you to get out now that it's nice-ish and enjoy something you haven't done for a while. You'll see more of that in the second part of the story, but I think that the bit on playing midway games should help settle you down.

I really enjoyed getting revenge on that carny by taking the flash photo of his shooting gallery and watching the thing slip into over-drive. I think the best part was that I really wasn't thinking when I took the photo and only wanted something to put up on the site. So when the flash hit and the thing went crazy, I thought that our little excursion to Oaks Park had come to an end. At any rate, I hope you learned that you shouldn't trust a carny, no matter how nice he seems.

That's all for now, but check back soon for the second part of the article- I also hope you like the new layout. Jdog has been helping me with the graphics and you'll be hearing from him soon.
