Lightning Pumpkins Light Up Halloween
When it comes to candy, I think we all have our particular favorites. For me, it's peanut butter cups. But then there's the whole range of candy where
the focus is less on the sugar and more on the novelty. You've seen this stuff in the stores: gummy hamburgers, pens that are also suckers, suckers that are also flashlights. I personally don't buy this stuff. Not because I'm opposed to the novelty, but because the candy
is usually terrible. But when I saw lightning pumpkins, I couldn't resist:
Lightning Pumpkins are gummy jack-o-lanterns that light up when you pick them up with the special tongs. The packaging even indicated that the tongs were new and improved, so I figured it was a safe bet.
Right now you're probably thinking: "If people saw me eating gummy pumpkins with tongs, they'd ridicule me." That might be true if they were simply green tongs. But these tongs cause illumination, making people want to get to know you. So face.
And the candy? It tastes like the orange sour patch kids, only without the sour sugary goodness. But you'll be so distracted by the lights that you won't even notice.
